Life will go on as it has for millions of years. Whether there is a new bus called A.R.T. or not. What will be different if A.R.T. is allowed to continue as planned? There will be no mature trees on Central. There will be mass congestion where there is none at this time. People will stop coming to Central Avenue because of the hassle of getting around. Many of the businesses will be gone. The project would be obsolete by 2035 and would have to be torn out. Some future taxpayers will have to pay to restore Central Avenue again.
